The only problem? Filtering the results. Sure, you could enter “two-toned” or “two toned” in the search bar… but that’ll yield at least a hundred different ombre r balayage ‘dos. Speaking from experience here. So if you want just the best of the best then you’ve come to the right place! Let’s dive into some of the best two-toned CC this side of TS4.
10. Cosmic CC Wisp Recolour
Check Out This CC Get used to that name, because you’re going to see it pop up on this list quite a bit. Cosmic CC does a lot of two-toned recolors for existing Sims 4 CC hairstyles. This one is a recolor of Hallowsims’ beautiful pigtailed hairdo for a more quirky style—specifically, different-colored bangs. As much as I love it, it’s more hair with different-colored accent than it is two-toned hair. Still gorgeous though, and totally belongs on this list!

9. CoffinTramp’s Two-Tone/Monochrome Ombre GT Dipped Hair Recolors
Check Out This CC Now here we’ve got this gorgeous recolor of the female “dipped” hair from The Sims 4 Get Together expansion pack. I felt that the new color swatches—specifically the bright orange to black and the pastel pink to dusty rose looks — definitely earned this CC a spot on the list. However, the hairstyle itself leans more towards ombre and dipped, rather than two-toned. But if you’re in the market for a bold, overstated, Maxis-Match hairstyle, this one is totally a winner.

8. Noodles Sorbets’ Two Toned Bangs Recolor
Check Out This CC Another recolor of an existing Sims 4 hairstyle, this CC is particularly delightful. Not only does it introduce a whopping 49 new two-toned color options (on top of the original 18), but the color combinations themselves are utterly unique. Not to mention insanely flattering. If you loved this particular TS4 hairstyle but felt frustrated by the limited color options, I suggest you download this CC ASAP. The creator was even nice enough to include the original .psd that separates both sides of the hair. This way you can make your own color combination from scratch! Well, if you’re familiar with Photoshop. Make sure to check out the download description to learn how it’s done. I’m particularly fond of the pretty pink-and-dusky-orange combo:

7. LeahLillith’s Melanie Hair
Check Out This CC A unique hairstyle that comes with some neat pastel half-and-half options? Yes please! Compatible with hats? Even better! This Melanie-Martinez-inspired hairdo may not have the most two-toned color options. But the texture and hairstyle more than make up for it! Two cute dumpling buns on top of some soft, wavy tresses? I can see the photo shoots and multiple screenies now. There aren’t very many contrasting combinations for the two-toned color options. But this hairstyle is definitely the one to have if you desire more of a bright, pastel-y palette.

6. Bobasimmer Half&Half Recolor
Check Out This CC This classic long-hair-with-blunt-cut-bangs option looks gorgeous on any Sim. Add a two-tone recolor for some real pizzazz! Bobasimmer’s CC recolor for this specific hairstyle just makes it stand out all the more. My only issue? Every color option is paired with black (specifically the left side). So it’s not as extensive or imaginative as the other CC hairstyles on this list, and it’s arguably a little more limiting since you can only have black and another color for your chosen two-tone combo. But! As long as you don’t mind that (I certainly didn’t), there’s no reason to skip this CC. I mean it looks incredible. Besides, look how great neon orange and blue look with that black!

5. Cosmic CC Half/Half Hair Recolor
Check Out This CC Did you think I forgot about the men here? Sadly, there aren’t a lot of two-tone CC hair options specifically for male Sims right now. But that didn’t stop me from looking for a cool, spunky, male-Sim-specific, two-toned hairstyle. Thankfully, Cosmic CC was way ahead of me on this one. This two-toned recolor of Ade_Darma’s Jeonghan hair is just the CC you need to fulfill your Sims’ K-pop idol dreams (because that’s honestly the vibe I’m getting). Just look at this light pink & bleached lilac option.
The middle part is universally flattering, the texture isn’t too jarring in-game, and the color-combo options are actually pretty cool. And if you really fall in love with the hairstyle, just know it works for female Sims, too. Definitely one worth checking out!

4. Ade_Darma Martinez (Without Bangs)
Check Out This CC Another masterpiece from Ade_Darma, this adorably sassy hairstyle features long pigtails, gentle waves, and nine two-tone color options. From original Sims characters to Sims-version recreations, this hairstyle is equal parts pretty and unique. Color combos are fun and also very versatile. You’ve got the usual bold, attention-grabbing tones, but they’re downplayed by some muted, soft color combos that manage to look gorgeously natural (like this chestnut-and-black option).
On the opposite end of the spectrum, check out this sweet baby-pink-and-light-turquoise combo:
Very Harley-Quinn-esque. Sure, the hair may be a little too long for a Sims Harley Quinn, but who says she can’t grow her hair out?

3. SintikliaSims Hair s17 Still Into You
Check Out This CC Bagging the third top spot is this Hayley-Williams-(of Paramore fame)-inspired hairdo that is sleek, stunning, and everything we want our two-tone CC hairstyles to be. Straight long hair with short-ish blunt-cut bangs and just enough shine in the texture to make it look cool (rather than creepy and over-detailed). This is a great hairstyle that works with a whole bunch of different colors and different facial structures. But what really blew me away is just how many color options you get with this CC. Seriously, talk about your overachiever! SintikliaSims’ hairstyle comes with a grand total 0f 50 new color options. Of these 50 options, you have 14 gorgeous two-toned options, 7 sleek ombre options, and one unique two-toned-ombre option that you literally can’t find anywhere else. Check out the screenshots on the download page. There’s a whole host of one-of-a-kind hair color combinations that look surprisingly great together! And by the way, this mesh is also compatible with hats too.

2. Feral Poodles’ Maxis Match Lucy Hair
Check Out This CC Honestly, it was tough figuring out my top picks. Feral Poodles’ original hairstyle can give our first placer a run for its money, simply because every aspect of this CC is knocked-off-our-feet impressive. First of all, it’s a completely unique Maxis Match hairstyle made from scratch. There isn’t a hairstyle like it in-game, and the chances of there being other CC hairstyles that look exactly like this are pretty slim as well. Second, it’s a gorgeous hairstyle. No, really. Thick, luxurious, and just straight up rocking that line between straight and wavy. Third of all, the customization for this CC is insane. Insane doesn’t even cover it. This download gives you 63 new color options plus 63 new “bangs” options too. What does that even mean? Feral Poodles’ two-toned hairstyle isn’t like most of the entries on this list. Rather than a straight-up half-and-half hair color, this CC lets you color the swoopy front-side bang a different color from the rest of the hairdo. Black hair with blonde side bangs? Sure. Bubblegum pink hair with cotton-candy blue? No problem. Soft brown with dark green front-side bangs curled just so? You got it. With 63 base color options and 63 different side-bang options, you can imagine just how many original color combinations you can make. Couple that with a smooth Maxis Match Sims 4 texture and you have one heck of a hairstyle for fun screenshots and hours of gameplay. The bangs are an “add-on” choice that you can recolor via the “earrings” category. It’s a little tough to understand, so make sure to read the author’s notes very carefully.

1. Cosmic CC Simpliciaty’s Charlotte Hair
Check Out This CC In first place we’ve got Cosmic CC with another recolor. Aside from the fact that the hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous (credits to Simpliciaty, of course) the half-and-half recolor makes it stand out all the more! Check out how beautiful the soft purple and dark brown look together.
And because it’s basically in the quintessential two-toned style, and all the color combinations look incredibly flattering, it’s got to be the best two-tone hair CC you could snag. Soft waves, great-looking textures, all with soft and bold combination options? It’s hard to find anything bad to say about this one. And for the record, the installation for all hairstyles listed here was pretty simple and straightforward. But if you have any problems installing them, remember to check the Author’s notes or any download instructions carefully so you can enjoy these cute ‘dos to the fullest!
