As a half-orc main, I have an almost unhealthy obsession with all things orcish. Their armor, their culture, the way they name their tribes… I find it utterly fascinating. Since I finally have the opportunity to spread some sweet orcish TS4 CC, you bet your bottom dollar I’m going to milk it!
1. Beastly Werewolf Fangs by pyxis
Check Out This CC Was it smart of me to open an article for orcs with a recommendation for werewolf fangs? Probably not. However, you can see how these upturned bottom incisors could work for our green-skinned compatriots. There’s even an example in the preview photo so. Unless werewolves can also be green, these fangs can probably work for orcs.
2. Orc Teeth by arch129sims
Check Out This CC Now here are some bottom incisors made specifically for Sims of the orcish persuasion. They’re not as sharply angled or as exaggerated as pyxis’ werewolf fangs, but they work in a pinch! Their size makes me think they would actually suit a half-orc better, but that’s just me.
3. Darkspear by Valhallan
Check Out This CC I know, I know. Some of the tusk options here? Bit ridiculous. Even with Valhallan’s talent of making literally any Sim look good, there’s no denying the jarring visuals (especially with the first few preview photos). However, some of the more reasonable designs – specifically in the last five photos – do look like they’d belong to the orc chief of a really wild mountain tribe. And, hey; if these Darkspear tusks are just too intimidating, check out the next item.
4. Teeny Tusks by Valhallan
Check Out This CC Teeny tusks! A smaller, more practical version of Valhallan’s Darkspear tusks. If the original iteration is just a tad too overwhelming in size, this downgraded version should be just perfect. Plus, I really love the name.
5. Necroberry’s Grounders and Norsemen Warpaint Recolor by Valhallan
Check Out This CC If your orc warriors are ready for battle, then smear on the warpaint. What it actually means depends on the culture and traditions of the tribe, but one thing’s for certain; your orc!Sim will look infinitely more badass with these hand-painted face symbols.
6. Mardum by Valhallan
Check Out This CC This is a grab bag of face overlays – like scars and small horns and ridges – that you can use to add more texture to your orc!Sim. After all, orcs aren’t really known for their glowing glass skin and baby-smooth cheeks. You can find these all in the Skin Details category.
7. 2Hump Ears + Dobi Ears by goblinsims
Check Out This CC This CAS pack from goblinsims contains different ears meant for different fantasy races. Although orcs aren’t on the list, I definitely see a couple that would pass muster. The Dobi ears and 2Hump ears poke out enough to draw attention, but their stubby rounded edges keep them from being too elven or elfin in nature.
8. Goblin Ears by tekri
Check Out This CC Not specifically orc ears, I know. But with a little finagling and adjusting, you’d be surprised how good these can look on a large, orcish frame. Especially the decorated ones! It gives off a pretty wild look that I personally find appealing.
9. Horns for TS4 by flapjack
Check Out This CC Combine some intimidating horns with your orc!Sim’s tusks to let other Sims know they mean business. The small horns may look a little comical, but they can blend surprisingly well with greyish and dark-grey skintones. And if you download Cherry Vanilla Sim’s recolor of the Thicc horns, you can get some intimidating forehead tusks in varying shades of green.
10. Horns Pack – Valhallansim Mesh Edit by gerbithats
Check Out This CC I’m throwing in this edit of some of Valhallan’s horn meshes because of the Damien horns and the Brune horns specifically. And while I do love the texture of the Damien horn, it’s more because they’re broken. As a race that values strength and considers honorable combat a fair way to settle disputes, I imagine that it’s very rare for horns and tusks to stay whole. Ergo, these cosmetic horns make sense.
11. Qunari Horns Collection by Valhallan
Check Out This CC These Qunari Horns are arguably some of the most popular and most used custom horns in the TS4 CC community. Valhallan does such an awesome job of extracting and converting meshes from other sources and making them work for the Sims 4. I will admit; the horns in this collection are a little more suited for tieflings or demons. However, I think some of the pointier and rougher designs – especially the ones in part 2 of this set – could work just fine for an orc build (with a bit of finagling and proper color combo-ing).
12. Lobelia Hair by teanmoon
Check Out This CC I think I recommended this hairstyle for elves in a separate article, but I’m bringing it back for orcs too. It’s the sporadic, seemingly random placement of the braids, the feathers, the beading, and the metal accessories that sells me. There’s no rhyme or reason to how the hair is done — it just is. It gives off very wild tribal vibes that I think would suit an orc or half-orc character really well!
13. Skadi by Valhallan
Check Out This CC Would you mess with a seven-foot woman with horns and tusks, wearing some seriously intimidating antlers longer than their torso? Didn’t think so. Neither would I, honestly. And that’s the kind of untouchable energy you want your orc!Sim to give off. Which is why I consider this Skadi outfit by Valhallan a must-have.
14. Weirdies: Orc Nose by simsquelch
Check Out This CC Aside from their greenish-gray skin, jutting jaw, and battle-ready temper, orcs also have distinctive noses. They’re often flat, they usually curve inwards, and a lot of media will depict them as broken (or at least scarred). Hey; orcs get into a lot of fights. What can you do? Simsquelch’s Orc Nose is part of a bigger CC pack, but you can download its .package file separately.
15. Bat Nose by gerbithats
Check Out This CC Is it weird that a bat’s nose actually works well with orcish features? I’m not kidding. Try combining gerbithat’s Bat Nose with Valhallan’s Teeny Tusks, and then add some base game face scars for good measure. It yields some pretty fantastical visuals.
16. Orc Noses: Nose Presets by cement
Check Out This CC If simsquelch’s Weirdies: Orc Nose or gerbithats’ Bat Nose isn’t to your taste, you can always try cement’s Orc Noses presets. There are three in total, and they all look pretty great (and orcish) in the preview photos. Plus, they can still be modified slightly with CAS sliders.
17. Feldr Fur Collars by Valhallan
Check Out This CC This custom fur collar would look intimidatingly regal resting on the broad shoulders of a seven-foot-tall orc chieftain, wouldn’t it? Male, Female (it works for both)—doesn’t matter. In a lot of fantasy media, fine furs are a way of distinguishing the important figures in a tribe.
18. Eivor by qwertysims
Check Out This CC A Mohawk in the form of intricate braids and sides buzzed clean? This definitely looks like a warrior’s cut, what with how it blends practical with ornamental. It’s available in EA’s 18-color palette, so you can definitely get this in green dye.
19. Stormheim by Valhallan
Check Out This CC Pair this absolute masterpiece of a beard with the creator’s own Darkspear tusks, and then place it on the hulking mass of some battle-scarred orc. Maybe add a giant battle-axe for good measure. Now that’s an intimidating visual.
20. Orc Accessories by lumialoversims
Check Out This CC Let’s wrap this list up with some basic orc accessories: Lower incisors that jut out (still a lot smaller than Valhallan’s Teeny Tusks) and a bull septum piercing. The septum piercing looks excellent when used with cement’s Orc Noses preset, and the Orc Teeth (which you can find in Body Accessories) are still sufficiently noticeable despite their size. I will admit, these features are a little tame for orcs. But for half-orcs? I think they’re just right.
